Reflections Resurrection

Missing image

I was faded out like grey clouds in front of a sunset,

Soaked in damp dirt, a once innocent heart turned tainted.

Not even a mere memory of my former self.

Left mentally scared, emotionally shattered, without a prayer.

Torn photographs of snippets of filmed yesterdays.

I knew of no longer till sweet souls brought me breath

Half way into rainy eyes, I endured restlessly the darkness.

Then I felt an angel carry my burdens, and love rising the sun.

Certain hues illuminated my weary soul.

And rainbows turned to sunny days, as the light saw misty reflections.

Reflections Ressurrection.

Perhaps by wordless emotion we communicate best with beings of Light in higher realms. Where no call goes unheard, no feeling unnoticed. Thank you for creating and sharing this restrained yet intense poem. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Take care.

    Oh my!

I love all of your writings but this one hit home, like describing me even if it is a dedication to someone else, which I am sure they would be touched by it. The words are just phenomonal! Blessings.

What an excellent piece you weave here daddy, I love the way you love others, and as well as the way you cherish those who love you so. Thanks for being a wonderful example, and for putting your family first, and finding the time to touch others who have
