Forbidden Love

I moved to town for a new start to live with my father
Everything was like a fiery torture for me to endure
Then I met you, and my world got turned upside down
I am nothing but nice to you and you shun me like the plague

Those beautiful eyes of gold shine like the light from the sun
Your pale skin, so luminescent in the light, but hard as marble
Everyday I see you and your family I recieve dagger-like glares
Never did I think my life would end up like the way it is now

You harbor a secret this I know; I will figure this out no matter what
One day, you saved my life from a swerving car about to hit me
After months, you caved into your emotions and loved me unconditionally
My friends were surprised at me with you, some more jealous than others

Surprised I was to find out about what deadly secret you kept hidden
My blood you thirst for in dangerous ways but can not have which kills you
Beautiful flowers surrounded us, and I got a kiss from your stone, cold lips
You met my father, and he you. Things went off wtihout a hitch, or so thought...

Thunder cracks as lighting strikes, the baseball hitting into the evergreen forest
A hunt began that day, your will to protect me grew; I was your top priority
Away you sent me, an unknown mistake you had never anticipated to happen
I was close to death until you showed up, taking away the poison and hunter

I love you to death despite me being a broken mess laying on a hospital bed
You want to leave for my safety, but I convinced you to stay
Will you turn me into a vampire? Or will I remain a human all my life?
We danced at prom, a night to remember as you kissed my throat...
