Polar Bear and Me

It was a snowy, snowy day
And I was in a cafe having tea
And looked at a polar bear lay
In the park on a tree

I invited the polar bear in
And we order bread and clover
And it smiled and gave a grin
And then it asked for me to sleepover

My mum wasn’t home till late
And my dad is never home anyway
But I didn't bother to wait
To tell them I’ll be away

I didn't know where the bear lives
But she said she'd take me there
And she said that for me she will give
A costume to look like a bear

I met the polar bears mum and dad
The mum was fast asleep
And the dad was angry and mad
So upstairs we did creep

The polar bear showed me its room
It was full of snow and twigs
And I thought it smelled of perfume
But I found out it was her pet pigs

I slept on a snowy rock
And we played dares all night
I got dared to kiss her pet duck
And hug the duck really tight

When I woke up
I was in my room alone
And wasn’t on top
Of a snowy stone

I went downstairs
And told my mum and dad
About me meeting a lovely bear
But they just thought I was mad

I told everyone in my school
But they did laugh all day
They said that’s impossible
But you were with me in the cafe
