This piece is rather unique in it's structure, in that it built up intensity throughout the piece. I loved the vocabulary usage, as well as the descriptions that depicted a scene and added sound to it. Your words hold a lot of strength, which is wonderful in grasping audience attention. Good luck in your future writing endeavors, though I believe you have a heap of talent already!

That has to be one of the best opening lines I've read/heard in maybe forever.
There is so much credibility earned by saying the voice can't be trusted that you must trust it.
And it's a perfect show opener as you proved the other night.
