Earnest learner,
Yearning for the lesson plans
Thought to be a
Silent nothing
Waiting for the class’s end
Lazy walks into the
room, fifteen
minutes after start
Sickie emails me
Excuses why
She couldn’t be a part
Half-assed whines that
He don’t have
The class’s book ‘cause he’s too poor
And teacher sighs,
Exasperated,
Failing to encourage them

Even in my smallest class (8 people) we still have the same people.
