Trying to compose
a song for my love
gets kinda hard
when all the strings
are forever breaking.
How can I pen
the way my heart feels
when the music
no longer flows.
Lost in the world
of silence and discord
that is where I've been
with my broken strings.
So, the tune is gone
not a note left to be heard
only the echoes
in the void of my soul
