A shattered visage of death and decay
Much that once was now lies broken today
All that the family stood for now rots in sun
So much work accomplished to see undone
Broken abraded by earth our mother
They were foolish to challenge her
In the summer she beat upon them with wind and rain
In the winter she berated them with snow and sleet
Long and cold were the nights in that place
All that is left is one and one only frame
A picture of now only she can clame

This is pretty good, I can see the pictures you are painting. However, you may want to check the seventh and last lines for errors. The second to last line sounds a little awkward too. The little fixes would just help improve the quality even more. Thanks for entering, too.
