The enchantress weilds her wand
of uninsightful, magical luster.
As her fingers send it dancing, spinning, twirling
between her hands.
Her incantation, like a song lulling her soul
to rest.
Puffs of enchanted smoke
rises from a couldron of
black, heartless, rutheless desire.
Desire to ensnare the golden heart
of a trumpetted, harold king.
To mask the kingdom in wars
of blackened magic.
All for the sake of playing
cards with fate's own
angelic witch to turn the
tables from God's arsenal,
and hand it over to
the evil prince himself.
To rule and overrun
earths beauty with
hellish creatures who
long and hunger for human flesh,
and shed their hollow,
see through souls
for something more form fitting.
But the first step is
the enchantress' death.
So, satan may posses
her and seduce
our all too charming
king.
The knife plunged
within her heart,
her pledge to serve the
darkness, as her soul falls
down below.
The war has begun!
So, who are you?
Our dear enchantress, or
our golden heart king
of doom?

This piece was based off the idea of one of his plays but also somewhat about how I feel American politics are played

You are prolific little gypsy.
This blew me away.....
Shakespearean in it's flare.
Love the mysterious title lass.
I happen to a huge fan of well placed questions in poetry....
and yours could not have been placed in a more appropriate spot for this piece.
Very different from the very last one I read of yours....
you should be proud lass....
This is fine, fine work indeed.
Peace ,
Lowell

Thanks. This piece actually took me longer than most to write just because of the dual meaning it has for myself personally.

well i always appreaciate your comments they inspire me to keep writing
