Unencumbered, weightless sea of emotions
Unfolding, spreading larger than oceans
Designated, waterfalls outspoken
Licentious, wild waters unbroken
Weeping, purifying raindrops produced
Watercourse, eroding pain induced
Currents, deviating emotional mists
Free-flowing rivers, harmony subsists
Lingering, unbecoming of a crystal spring
Tranquility, a lagoon for just being
Pureness, dew decry vengeance
Water, channel for our very essence
Become the Nile:
Evolve, increase flow, become unscarred waters
Forgive, cleanse the wrongs, of our mothers and fathers
Heal, granted pardon used, as lather for soiled orchards
Unrecycle: Give fresh water, to your sons and daughters

I think the contest runner missed a medalist poem in their contest. This one

this is wonderful lillian! i love the poetic connection between the water elemental and the flows of our emotions...as well as the most tangible connection between water and the human element...this is my favorite of yours that i have read thus far.
a definitive piece indeed..
"Evolve, increase flow, become unscarred waters
Forgive, cleanse the wrongs, of our mothers and fathers
Heal, granted pardon used, as lather for soiled orchards
Unrecycle: Give fresh water, to your sons and daughters"
your message is as clear and refreshing as cool draught from the well...
