Bleed For Me
©copyright 2004 Bonita M Quesinberry
Adam fell,
Jesus soared.
Yet, with His Word you are bored?
Flooding came,
Earth was cleaned.
His Word you've still never gleaned?
Seas parted,
Jews were freed.
But, you prefer lust and greed?
Christ was born,
and death died.
Yet, for wealth your heart doth cry?
"Bleed for me!"
all declared.
And, your way seems more than fair?
Prophets speak,
truth is heard.
Still, you follow wicked herds?
Time is short,
sin no more.
Will you die, or with Him soar?
Christ returns,
it's too late.
And, your sins you won't abate?
Fire consumes,
Purifies.
Yet, you hold to mankind's lies?
All is said,
it is done!
Of His you read . . . not—word—one.

Wow, is just about all I can get out, sometimes it appears or seems so easy to 'miss' it, but in here you give us fair warning, indeed
