I feel the need
to protect you from all
that can hurt you
that will hurt you.

I never want to
see you get hurt,
not by them
physically
mentall
or emotionally.

I would rather die
than ever hurt you myself
in any way
shape
or form.

I want to always
keep you safe
hold you close
stay with you.

I've never wanted
to be closer to anyone
than I want to
be closer to you.

So I do not know
how to say it
when to say it
or even if I should.

It sounds cheesy
I know
