A mother is someone who cares,
Someone who's always there.
A mother is a place to go,
To talk to when feeling low.
A mother gives you hope,
She always helps you cope.
A mother is always true,
I'm glad my mother is you.
We don't always get along,
It’s usually because I hate to be wrong.
But now I can see
That all you did was make me, me.
You helped me to love and to care,
You taught me to always share.
And for that I thank you,
I don't know what I’d do,
If I didn't have a mother
Who was as loving as you.
