Hovering close to my heart,
is the memory of what
we had yesterday-
the times we spent
loving, talking,
sharing our dreams
for tomorrow.
The way we knew
each others thoughts-
dreams, desires,
without ever
having to speak them
out loud.
The bond we shared,
something so very rare,
through whispers of our hearts,
we found more than we
were searching for-
though to this very day,
I do not know how-
or why it happened-
I suppose I never will-
But it is something I
will forever cherish.
