Beautiful butterfly, radiant blue as you personify daylight
Sunshine, your kindness levitated me into joyful flight
Compassion, like you show is the trademark of kind souls
Understanding, you are busy turning my pieces into wholes
Discovering my sores, yet leaving me complete in my worth
Somehow, I believe our souls met on the day of my birth
Friendship, you being the sand that filtrates to clear my murkiness
Radiant, those around you illuminate for your glow is timeless
Beautiful butterfly, you spread your colors over me
Revealing, that there is more to me than what I could see
This poem, is just my way to say that I appreciate your love
