Chrome and steel
moonlight sonata
sings its song
of allure;
deception on winsome breeze,
lullaby of death.
Sailor's love,
incandescent dreams,
seduction
in wavelets;
a drop into the ocean
of lost lovers' tears.

Strongly metaphorical and right on the form, strong entry here

Like the mystery and beauty of this lovely poem...
Admiring how you captured the form so well.

Oooh, sirens... appropriately spooky.
Glad I don't have to face many final frontiers like that one...

Spot on form and a great metaphor, these images are rich, and weave magic on the mind, just like a mermaid casting her spell upon the crew. Very well done!

Thank you for joining us in the Shadorma Challenge, best wishes!
many blessings, Sandi

. yeh, picture prompts in particular are tricky. mostly I avoid them, but you pp, you're always up to the challenge.
good work here, soft metaphors in a well told sad tale.

You are always a 'player'. I don't write anything for someone elses ideals, quotes, or pictures. I applaud your work though as you pull it off very well. You have the ocean and sailors. You have the lovers lost dream going on as well. Bravo, my friend. No happy clappy men left again tonight. I think they should change that as it actually costs me points to comment when they are gone. RC
