Serendipidous colours

Watch it drip,
Watch colours blend,
See paint slip,
Canvas wont bend,
Sticks like bubble gum,
To curious fingers,
Smooth until touched,
Like a heart before love,
An empty cave of colour for hope.

Suface flares bright,
Flaws are opened,
Under tentative light,
Leaving depth unopened,
Fueling the illusion,
Of a tarnished and cracked surface underneath,
Hiding any miscalulation,
Lost and abandoned scratches of the past,
Solid or hollow is anyones guess.

Here is were the place gets hard,
On canvas, wall, or stone so cold,
Surface faces broken and marred,
Annonymity begins to take hold,
Fearless colours in endless succession,
Melting, smothering, covering eachother,
With or without due gratitude,
Colour untouchable.
