can we not see what is right in front of our eyes?
as people are discriminated against
we watch, thinking, "glad its not me"

why cant you see it?

or maybe you dont care
for anyone who has ever been hated,
abused, looked down on, or hurt,
tell the world that we are still here
and we will not be silent
so instead of watching as the world spins by,
tell someone that they are no different than anyone
and that you love them for who they are
because you are the one who makes their day
and this one?
