Coffee

I sat in the café with my luke-warm coffee; people watching.

There was the tired but young mother,
attempting to settle her rowdy children.

There was the old man,
his eyes gleaming with the kind of wisdom that only comes from age.

There was the business man in his Armani suit,
the middle aged but beautiful widow,
and the high school student with his headphones and textbook.

Then I realized…
All six of us were drinking the same flavor coffee.

    This was nice- it showed that we aren't all that different in the end. Something always binds us together.

    Though I'd like to know how you can tell you were drinking the same coffee?
