The violence that consumes our world
will never go away
as long as we look through closed eyes,
and teach our kids to hate.
You're hated because your Muslim.
You're hated because your gay.
You're hated because your Mexican.
You're hated because you stray
from social norms.
You don't conform.
You don't deserve a chance.
All this hate just makes me sick,
and it's time we took a stand.
So, to everyone who's different
in any single way
please come together with me,
and let us stop this here today.

and want to live in peace.

I like the message but it is hard to teach people how to embraces differences. Humans are very fickle creatures.
I can tell you this... your poems message is a perfect world.
Keep spreading this message... its partly why my motto is hate the sin and not the sinner. You cant hate people but you can disagree with their choices in a respectful manner.

I see it this way, Everyone is different in some way so it would be everyone coming together to make a stand and that would be the best thing that could ever happen to this world. Sad thing is.... it will probably never happen...But for some reason I still have hope that maybe just maybe something good will happen! Im not one of those cheery fuckers,but well,you get my drift!
