We're Sealy and Sammy the Siamese twins
you can't call us Cheshires we haven't got grins
As kitty cats go we're mom's pride and joy
Sealy's her gal pal and I'm her good boy
We get mom up early each day, on the go
for someone must make us our breakfast you know
then while she's at work, we're here guarding the house
to make sure it's not burglarized by a mouse.
We share all our feelings with mom everyday
our thoughts and opinions, we have much to say
and mom always listens to all that we share
she knows when she's lonely we'll always be there
Her living lap warmers, her confidants too
no dog on this Earth could do all that we do
one look in our soulful eyes, and you'll agree
no one could love mom more than Sealy and me.
Author notes
A teacher friend of mine has two adorable Siamese cats who are her best friends. She's always talking about their antics and how they talk to her and keep her company. Having a Siamese cat of my own, I can relate.

I love it. That's so true about the Siamese. I had a Tonkinese once,which is half Siamese, so I know exactly what you mean.
