'Grace' Hymn: Inspire my heart ...

Missing image

Inspire my heart with grace;

shine, Christ, upon this place

that I may know your kindly face

to love all you embrace.

Inspire my love with need;

fill me with purer deed,

that I, through grace, your wish concede

to love, to live, indeed.

Inspire my voice with song,

that I may sing along

Salvation's grace, unearned and strong,

where right is tuned from wrong.

Inspire, with grace, my heart,

that I may good impart

and live with you and not apart;

for grace is all, not part.

Inspire my loving heart,

fill me with surer art;

that God in me, through life proceed

to love, to live indeed!

Prompt:

[Amazing grace

how sweet the sound

that saved a wretch like me

(my favourite song)

So, what I want is for you to tell me,what is grace? Where does it come from? How do we obtain it?

In rhyme please;

I do love rhyme.

Please ... no fewer than 16 lines

good luck and God bless...

and have fun! ]

This hymn explaining grace may be sung to "Dulwych College" or to "Hampton".

And, yes, above, I do mean the metaphor in "tuned". It is NOT a typo from "turned"!

    So inspiring! Yes it is with His grace that we share in life and love, and live in harmony. Wonderful thoughts to sing here inspired by the song Amazing Grace. It is also one of my favorites as well

    Be blessed my friend!
