I love it how your spirits lift every single time we meet,
I love the way your glasses hide your eyes so deep and blue,
So only I can see in them the beauty held in you,
I love the way you are smiling now, and how you shake your head,
And I love the way you aren’t cute, I say you’re are beautiful instead,
I love the feeling of your skin, soft as new spun silk,
I love how it puts to shame the whiteness of fresh milk,
I love the redness of your hair, fire crowning such perfection,
I love to taste your lips and tongue, surpassing sweet confections,
Greatly do I love the way you smile when we talk,
Or how you play with my fingers as we walk,
I love the way it makes me feel to see you happy ‘cause of me,
It swells my heart with joy and makes me want to sing out loud and free,
I love the way you are a little shy, slightly blushing in the cheeks,
I love it how I get to see your beauty in a lot of little peeks,
I love the way you fill my life with light and joy and love,
I love it how we seem to fit just like a hand inside a glove,
I love it how you stand by me through the good times and the bad,
I love it how I can give you comfort when your day has made you sad,
