I could not see you without thinking passionately about you.

I could not be away from you without enduring pain.

I could lose everything, but I could never lose my heart;

for I love you more than health, wealth, or happiness.

All day long, I wait for a word from you.

Only your words give my soul true comfort.

They could break down all the walls that make up my life,

tear away the very threads of my existence,

and yet there you still would be
