Dreaming Green

Pressurization postulates within my mind;
pounding, pulsating, pummelling,
pushing away sanity.

Implosion incurs mitigation for thoughts;
igniting, invigorating, idolizing,
illogically erasing reason.

Love contests hate for my desires;
convincing, capsizing, captivating,
capitulating its right.

Atrophy becomes my bane;
analyzing, abstaining, adjudicating,
appearing abnormal.

Author notes

Feeling eny is like tasting a sweet & sour meal.

    It's all been said.

  • Beautiful...

    When art meets science and mingle with knowledge, and a highly qualified mind processes their proper application a "Dreaming Green" is poetized; and the English Fine Letters shine.

    May Mother-Poet, – the author of this unique Poem, “You”, – keep feeding the humanity of Your mind to nourish the eternity of Your Soul.

    In respect and admiration,

    Andre Emmanuel Bendavi ben-YEHU

    Very well crafted

    I like your rascally repetition of radical rambling rhymelessness! *pant* *pant* Very compact and well written. Succinctly captures the generic (and some no so generic) components of envy. I like your consistent use of punctuation. The only part that seemed a little off to me was "appearing abnormal", which after I thought about I decided that the outward display of behavioral changes between the love/hate pole would make you appear abnormal.

    ‘dreaming green’ not only green, multicolored, multiform also, constantly changing like in a kaleidoscope. Our soul is it a chameleon ? A deep poem into the abyss inside of us.
