Sacred devastation has reigned too long,
Taking my soul to the grave’s grave,
Informally burying love in death’s tomb.
Leaving me sorrowful and dehydrated,
Lingering doubt has to now find its’ leave.
Sacred emotion must return unto me.
Today, not tomorrow, it is not too late
And I’m Still Standing, ready to be reborn,
Not withholding myself from God’s gifts.
Denying myself so another’s heart can behold…
I know there is beauty within this life I offer.
No imagination or daydreams here, I L I V E,
Going beyond what some have endured.
I nestle in the moment, accepting what it is;
Allowing her breath to become one with mine,
Melding to the bond, we will combine.
Ready, or not, I belong to this feeling;
Evasion is not possible, it is too strong.
All trembling becomes me as fear is released;
Dying to self, I embrace what God is giving.
Your presence erases past bitterness and
Tomorrow becomes welcome as before.
Obliterating this stupor I have become,
Life takes over as we dance anew.
OH! Sweet sublimity!
Victorious am I, for, I have forgiven!
Endured the past and embraced today.

DQ? NO WAY!!
I wish you could see the huge smile on my face after reading this! I love how you personalized it and made it unique to me, I love that and appreciate it and it can still relate to anyone which makes it even better!! Now what stuck out for me is this:
Ready, or not, I belong to this feeling;
Evasion is not possible, it is too strong.
All trembling becomes me as fear is released;
Dying to self, I embrace what God is giving.
Your presence erases past bitterness
I can't wait to feel like this again!!! Superb! Thanks for entering and good luck!
