Crazy? maybe.

The piercing sound
causes me extreme pain
I attempt in vain to
ignore the screeching
the sounds that tear into my skull
in only the quietest of rooms

The silence...
it calls to me
it screeches and screams
tearing into my ears
forcing the thoughts i try to hide forward

they come, ripping my once pleasant memories to pieces
leaving me nothing but the pain of the past
With each screech their voices get louder
starting as a mere whisper growing until i can't stand the sound

I yell out begging it to stop
attempting to force the flashbacks away
but the run like a gush in my mind
i'm left to watch helpless
as it happens
over and over
again and again

I cry and i can't breathe
i'm left one the floor
forced to relive the pain same as before
The voices finally stop whe then quiet fades away
and i open up my tear filled eyes
hoping they stay away

The silence it consumes me
It tears apart my soul
and each time it returns
i feel a bit less whole.
