Here for a short while.

                            Exzuberent and energetic-always flashing a
                                                          smile..
                            How was I to know he'd only be here a short
                                                          while?
                              Although I didn't get close to him, he always
                                                brightened my day.
                              He was always smiling with something good
                                                            to say.
                              Although he was very young when his light
                                                        flew away..
                                  somehow I beleive, I'll see him again 
                                                          one day!

    Wow, I'm actually crying a little bit right now. That's totally who Marcus was, right there. My one regret is that I didn't get to know him more, especially since hearing how many people he touched on the campus. And I will see him again, someday.
