Not Yet Oh God

Even though my eyes
Have not physically seen your face
I have seen you so many times
And basked in your wonderful grace

I see you in every flower
Also in every tree
I see you in the bright blue sky
In the wind that blows so free

Dear Heavenly Father I see you
I hear your every word
In every note the birds do sing
Your voice now reassures

My Savior and My God
Your voice is ever sweet
I shall listen patiently
Until face to face we meet

Lovely verse full of meaning - I especially like verses 1 & 2. Good use of rhyme - I like the partial rhyme in verse 3 of 'word' and 'reassures'. I can relate to the thoughts you've expressed about the many ways that we 'see' God in his creation and the way he speaks to us when we listen. I like the first and last lines that open and conclude the poem well.
