Heartache Carol

Heaven's angels cry a lullaby.

Silver tears fall from their eyes.

Never before have cherubs slept in idle marshes.

But now, as darkness drapes, twilight tangles their wings.

In the moon shimmers a twisted rose so white.

Could it be a victim of your despise?

From your curses destiny sings a melancholy tune.

Heaven's angels covers their ears.

In your pain you see only broken dreams.

Love is the only way to reverse your haunted carols.

Suffer no more the way you are.

The hands of time will tick no more.

Do you ever wonder why you lie?

Heaven's angels say goodbye.
