Moon ---Tarot

Eighteenth card of major arcana with Pisces as your ruling sign
Mysteries,illusion,madness,genius and poetry combine
Presenting lots of unexpected possibilities and imagination
Through your intuition and insight you will gain illumination

You will be confused but under the confusion
There is a lot of unexpected action
You must not try and force issues
For the confusion in life, you might have no clues

You must not let deceptions and lies lead you astray
Hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods might betray
You might be having mental and emotional tensions
Even then you must trust your dreams and illusions

Your dreams will have a profound impact on your life
With the help of your dreams, you will let go of the strife
There is a thin line between reality and illusion
To your primal feelings and intuition you must listen

The seeker must be vigilant while taking medication
No indulgence in abuse,or the situation might worsen
Despite the fears that you might be having
The wan light of the moon will always be leading
Deep rooted fears and anxieties might be worrying
But everything will turn out right leading to a happy ending

THE MOON

With Pisces as its ruling sign, the Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. The Querent who gets this card should be warned that they may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if they have any past mental problems, they must be vigilant in taking their medication. They should avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. They can and should trust their intuition."

This is very informative. I used to read the tarot cards myself when younger, so I recognise some of the qualities of your significator. As a poem, some parts are more successful than others. The line length is rather long and varies considerably syllabically. There are some good rhyming pieces, but some parts where the rhymes are not as effective. I understand the use of half-rhyme and assonance, but feel that full ryhmes, as in stanza one, would be more arresting. The switch from "you" to "the seeker" is a bit confusing, and line four in stanza three is not gramatically correct.
However, thank you for a worthwhile entry.

    YOUR CARD IS.....

    The Moon.

I love the tarot interpretation at aeclectic.net and in my current caffeine-withdrawl state, I feel as though they can do much better than I. Don't worry I'll have plenty of coffee for judging time!

If you are familiar with the tarot, feel free to use your own interpretation. Also, don't feel constrained by the word bit--you can also use the art of the card for inspiration. Have fun! I have had several requests to extend the contest, so I will. You will have time.
