Crazy Me...

And time was never here or there
As it were, was thin as air
I exist in a fraction of a moment
Came as an old soul went
Only to feel invisible
Miserable
Beauty only skin deep
and we seek to keep
Nothing
When you look at me
You look through me
Wonder what I have to offer
I empty myself
As sharp as knives
I know no hunger
Like the one
to feel alive
A kiss
A touch
A smile
Anything
Everything
I seek it through
what is around me
but its all a mirage
In camouflage

And it's hiding from me

So I play

Hide and go seek

Cause I will not except

that it does not exist

When I am here

out of 70 trillion possibilities

There's something

I must have missed

I want to find it in your eyes

So I look

I stare

For an uncomfortable amount of time

Till you crack a smile

And tell me I'm crazy

And I feel alive

Author notes

A little goofy, but I loved that "Life is a whim of several billion cells to be you for a while" quote. When DNA is lining up to create a person there are 70 trillion codes that make up a person. The two were very inspiring. How can we be so special and so not there sometimes?

I'm glad this quote inspired you, it shows in your writing. The ending part to this, made me crack a smile.
It wasn't goofy, only by a little

    I empty myself
    As sharp as knives
    I know no hunger
    Like the one
    to feel alive
    A kiss
    A touch
    A smile

I love that part, the little things to know we are still alive.

A simply gorgeous write, it flows.
