there was this girl
that entered my mind
and a nervous man
heard his pulse again
her words lighter
than the wind
black
white
& O
never forget
the gray
areas where
foreign language
and convoluted fissures
danced through my head
and eyes
of the planet
opened
her flexible command
carries a burden
no longer
with an iron will
crowing at the comedian
i was an audience of one
and awkward parodies
crumbled in her alphabet
she was
and is
a fantastic fire
burning brighter
than freedom
of clouded history
where idiot dreams
and metaphors douse
the flames
of wet
poets

Beautiful. I really love the last line...

I'm a wet-behind the ear poet, methinks. Excellent.
