The jaws of life have sprung music free,
Breathe, a gasp of air for hip hop and R & B,
Rock and roll, soul, and all musical expression live to see another day,
Released from its recession.
The resurrection
The revolution of music has risen with the pollution of fumes
That smoke from the souls of Holly, Valens, and Bopper's tunes
Screaming "make room!", the evolution is evident,
Evidence presented by Common, Kanye, and 50 Cent,
John Mayer and Sugar Ray, and the list goes on,
Turbulence attempts murder, but music lives on.
With jumper cables on its heart, the beat has restarted,
So for once close your ears and see the beauty of the art

Welcome to Allpoetry
This is a nice poem but whenever you have to use numerals in poetry, please word them, fifty instead of 50..
hope that makes sense..
Good luck with the contest..
