Tempest
Winds blow from a far,
the sea rises,
the waves crash mercilessly
on the resisting rocks.
Angry rain falls,
thunder roars,
lightning disturbs
the black burning sky.
A furious tempest
is upon us!

I feel her mighty roar as she approaches. No discrimination...if you are in the way; you won't be soon enough
Well done!

Nicely done Poetess! Seering color choices used in word form and text/background. Tempest is a favorite word of my own too.

wow such description of a deadly storm a tempest is very dangerous and i think you've described it perfectly.
