bless 'em all

How do we see, shimmered vision
deep water and blue seas

for the ramparts were never
here, always there...or not;
perhaps just gold in a pot
waiting for winks and nudges

courage that didn't budge, or count grudges
just gave until was done, and now

we can show we care, for what was given
over there... and bless them.

    I love the word prompt in this contest and didn't want to join in because I kept thinking of washing dishes or clothes. LOL You, on the other hand, have gone a totally different way. This is great information and poetry as a bonus. The best to you in the contest.

    Much Love ♥

    oh yes, so true, the program from what I understand does indeed work and makes one feel better about their disabilities.
    Nice for awareness, thanks for sharing

    Oh, you have taken that word and used in such an unexpected way! I clicked at the link and read about the program, a very good initiative there.
    You did very well here, showing the importance of those men.
