Return of the rodent

Squirrels don't hibernate
But sometimes they hide in dark places
There are times they don't want to be seen
So they curl up into little balls and hide their faces
And they think no one can see them
But they are still there

Then the day arrives when they look out and realise
That there is a world out there
And it is, maybe, a good place to be
Not perfect, but still there are reasons to care

Bluesquirrel's back in town
Well, on the site!

Author notes

Ran out of inspiration, hope to get back into some kind of groove.

Not a particularly good poem, more of a statement
