the sun was shining
soft and gold
it was setting
as he lay her down
he was sad
it showed
through his crystal eyes
but to powerful to show emotion
as he knows that this
is his greatest lost
she is staring back
one tear slides down her cheek
but she is gone from this world
her stare matches the snow
that lay around her
cold, lifeless, beautiful
he hopes it will preserve her
for just a little longer
but he knows it can't
for soon he will walk away
and without even a final glance
will say his final goodbye
but he stays just awhile
as if to capture the images
of life streaming by
but it's reeling to fast
it is at that moment he sees the memory
of when he could have changed it all
and this would not have to be

wow this was very sad. my favorite part was when you were talking about how life goes by fast and how he wanted to capture it.
