to be made to choose

you havent wanted anything to do with us for years.
why now walk back into his life, and turn my world around,
you broke me, i hate you, why now am i so confused
i love you so much and i miss you badly,
you acted like i wasnt good enough, like he wasnt yours
you turned your back on us, threw us away
i hated you for both him and i
mum, she cries at night, scared that she will loose me
because you have taken her son away from her,
he was close to death and you didnt stay by his side
our lives stoped during those months
you life has never been about your kids
he has always wanted your love, for you to proud of him
i was your little girl.. he is your son
why would any father do what you have done,
but still i love you and i want you back
i cant understand my own thoughts
mum has been there to pick up the pieces
i was crying my hear out, you just look and walk away,
you have treated me the worst of any male in my life
but you are my dad, and its hard to completely hate blood
you have now made it into a compition, my mum or you.

i am sorry about how raw and rough this is. it was something i just wrote to get thoughts on paper, and was planing on working on some more before adding it to the site.. but after reading about the contest i thought i might aswell just enter it. even if it isnt a great write i hope that you will find the right solution to your situation..

    It's a amazing write, though at first it sort of confused me, but after reading the whole way through it really is wonderful, and I understand exactly where you are coming from on this. It is really great! Good Luck to you! ^_^

    Its quite raw, but thats where ture emotions afflict. Many of our poetry is the best when its raw. Great write.
