Tonight I slept in my own agony,
Dreaming of the evil and the countless times
You trusted me.

I knew, all along,
I should not have blurred the lines.
Yet I stayed,
And introduced you to me.

Tonight I bathed in my complexity,
Underestimating the pain
I caused to you.

I feel embraced into a caccoon,
Trapping me inside my own faults.
I've seen nothing but the dark curtains
Around the borders of my sanity
Envelope every aspect of my humanity.

Bound inside, and forced to sleep
And dream of all I have undone.
The fake reality, the harshness of my words,
The promises I broke, like the fallen wings
That have failed to accompany me
Out of here.

Alone, I am,
As I should have always been
Tonight, I sleep,
And dream of the hell
I was to you.
