‘Tis such a beautiful night…
The beautiful full moon high above-
Casting its silver glow down below.

Come sit with me
And watch the stars-
Dancing in the sky
Reflecting over the water
Twinkling in our eyes.

I count each star with care,
Giving each a reason why I love you-
And each, a reason why I hate you;
Only growing upset when I’m out of stars.

Love me or hate me-
Do what ye will.
Just come sit with me
And watch the stars.

The grass damp with dew
Is cool on my back-
As I stare up at the sky,
Beautiful in its twilight glow.

Come sit with me
And watch the stars-
Dancing merrily across the sky.
Close your eyes-
Make a wish.

Quite lovely. I felt like I was staring up at the night sky and marveling at the stars.

I love this since I am a huge fan of the Universe. You describe the scene quite well and the flow was easy going.

Kudos for using "Ye." Old English is a rare sight these days.

Beautiful to say the least. Good work.
