You tell yourself
Be patient,
Just wait.

You tell yourself
Ignore the pain,
Forget the heartbreak.

It's all in your
Head.

As your heart beats
Slower,
It says,
Give up,
Run,
Save what's left.

But,
You still hold on.

To what's not there.
