Glass, Thoughts, and Arrogance.

To catch the eye
it's best to douse your writing in melancholy.
Start with the low underground holed up business
and work from there.
People are like glass figurines
so pretty to put together
but they shatter so randomly
pieces flying everywhere,
impossible to make like new.
Glass
isn't fragile.
The conditions are.
And to think about it.
Why we do it all the time
but the very same;
thinking does not part well.
All the gloom comes from thinking.
But thinking isn't what's the problem,
it's the glass people who can't handle it.
And thinking contemptuously is
all the worse.
It's a burden to carry, knowing there
will always be
someone
better than
you.
Better in most people's eyes
unless they're biased towards you.
Better towards the world - always second in line.
But then you notice it's kind of hopelessly funny
why bother anymore
when people made of bullet proof glass
linger amongst the delicate
fragile
mess?
