living heroes (issue #10: the faceless mass)




you are
blood parasites and pathogens,
weak entropic forces
deprived of earthsong,
being swallowed up by undernourished musculature
    (heart tissue)


we won’t speak of the ties that bind


us                      (hemophiliacs and narcoleptics,
                          drug users and religious icons)

together


because there are better, more beautiful creatures
for me to feast upon.


but what would i do                          (...who would i be...)

without all of you living inside of me?
