A Child's Mask ~ rictameter

Deceit
Wears a child's mask
Speaks confusion and lies
Accusing while excusing self
The goal is tar paving destruction's road
Yet an adult of forty years
Midst a sun that shines not
While claiming Christ
Deceit

Came back
again & was as amazed with this write as the first time! I love this write. It takes a certain mind to get behind this & enjoy it! -
Stunningly Powerful!
Wow Bonnie ~ you said so much in a few words. This is jam packed with electrifying imagery. Trust you'll do well in this Contest.
I like the way you start & end with the same word like bookends that enclose the potency.

I expected your long writes...LOL this is fantastic, and so full of truth in exposing the one out in the world, everyone better get armed. Blessings

wow - love the depth in this! And so true - deceit can look/feel so innocent that it easily fools the victim......and I also feel an under-current in this, that of someone who 'claims' to be a Christian, but deep down really isn't....all for show, so to speak.
Love the depth!
Well done!

Show, which Christ defines as flattering lips. Thank you so much, Sis, for such an uplifting review! And, of course, that extra work I put upon you because my mistake in posting.
You are sooo encouraging.
