Portion by portion, lead me down a fairy tale
Lilacs and forget-me-nots
Wilt as you fashion your gaze onto me
The breeze stops blowing
Dewdrops frozen to ice
Your eyes fish for prizes unknown in this void
My world is by no means dependable

Excellent imagery here. Your words make me feel cold, as the quote should.
Here I felt as though it was in pieces that everything fell apart, rather than all at once.
Great descriptive imagery.
Thank you for entering my contest and good luck
