These petals are soft,
like the under skin,
on your face,
covered by a beard on your chin.
Should you call tonight,
my tongue would savior the wait,
and pulsate against my teeth,
no words can come,
from loneliness,
but perseverance,
was no bliss.
The Shadows dance upon my face,
and crawl into the crevasses,
as the endless doubt fills the sun set,
red as blood,
and anguished lips,
I feel just,
I feel weak,
angered by,
the wound so deep,
do you love her like you love me?

This is such a tough piece to read, I know the feeling of beating ones self up over men or women alike. Well done. Best to you in the contest
