I am alittle disappointed and alot upset!! I had a contest a few weeks ago called "Just Because" After it was over and the winners were informed I waited and waited to get a little meassage of "thank-you" from atleast the ones that won in my contest!
Well, there was only one kind person who had the decency to say "thank-you" for the trophy! Now I usually hold in my feelings of rude behavior like this but this has really gotten my hair in a bunch!!
What do you think?
A few of the ones that couldn't even take the time to say "thank-you" happen to be some of my favorites! That really hurt! Come on people use alittle common decency...when someone takes the time to acknowlege your work the least you can do is send alittle "thank-you"
For the "one" person who did take the time to say "thank-you" I very much "thank-you"
That's all... I'm done now! Over and done with... now I can let it go.

It's a sad state when a small courtesy such as saying thank you is left unsaid.

Pissed
This happened to me on a very complex poem which took me weeks to judge. Only my favs got back to me, win or loose. I WAS PISSED. And don't think I have forgotten who those people are for the future. You have every right to feel as you do!

I understand, it would bother me too. I guess maybe they don't think it will matter if they do or not, I don't know. But I'm glad youre expressing your feelings and not holding them in, atleast now they are aware of this and they might say thank you more, not just to you but in other situations with defferent people as well.

I can understand that the people who didn't win didn't thank you. But, the trophy winners?! That's just not right. Just because this is the internet doesn't excuse peoples lack of courtesy. Those were your points that you shared with them, the least they could have done was send you a "Thank You".
