When Detered By Nature, Use Cruelty

A river runs through a valley
Down a hill
Over mountains
Beyond our line of vision

A flower grows and struggles beneath the snow
Determined but weak against a formidable enemy
A snake lays docile in the frozen grass
Lazily strolling by
Scales laughing in the harsh glow of winter

A child lays sick
The only cure the struggling flower
At the end of the endless river
Which is protected by snakes

But even cruelty has its moments.

I really liked this one, at first I was wondering where it was all going but it all came together perfectly at the end. A great write indeed

A great concept and ending! I really enjoyed it. Nice imagery! You may want to fix a typo that I think you meant to be the word "frozen" [grass.]
