Forgotten

Missing image

Forgotten, left all alone...over vast unknown land I roam...
trying to find a home.

Heavy clouds and fog blocked out the tiny new moon
Stumbled lost - tried to cross this barren waste.

Blackness brought on the stilled voices...
Tears from heaven created a tune
fall slowly into a rhythm
as each drop fell upon harden ground

Sounds usually echoed  across the plains.
now they were drowned out by the rain.
Roaring fiercely, stinging bare skin ...
causing pain, nearly insane. Head bowed low
not knowing which way to go.

The darkness of night blinded my way...
Feeling my way for a safe place to stay.

Knowing with the sun rising ...
I prayed for the light of day...

to be on my way.

Fears Forgotten...

I had been praying through the night.

Behold what a sight.

I had been praying on bended knee.
Underneath a tree...

 

Now visable in the early morning light.

So often we can be in a dark situation in life...time and circumstances.
Each new day dawning offers us another chance to start over again.
like the artist with a canvas - we can create something fresh and new.

    Always have faith

    I love the'tears from heaven' description of rain, and that there is always a light at the end of a tunnel, at least that's the message that it has for me, a lovely write.
