Dark Bubbles

At first you found me dancing,
Adrift across the sky,
And then you wanted me to fall,
And so, you caught my eye

Your words were so enticing,
Your body such a mold,
I let the heat consume me,
And relished in the cold

A spell was cast upon my heart
Because I couldn’t see
Exactly what you wanted-
What you needed- out of me

A darkness so deceiving,
A tale with such a twist,
My heart was lured with passion,
And I could not resist

My Turtledove forgot his song,
Your love forgot my heart,
I’m left to wander ‘cross the world,
A product of your art

I’ll regret my words forever,
When I sold away my Self
And handed you my bottled dreams
Which decay upon your shelf

I wish I could forgive me,
But Temptation found my strings,
It tugged against my very soul
And tainted my white wings

Now I am not dancing,
And you’ll get to see me fall;
But for now I’ll just be floating,
Lost amidst, amongst it all

Author notes

I really enjoy fantasy, and dark is my forte, so... fantasy please

Now, if you had a DARK fantasy prompt, that would be pretty darn amazing ;]
